We’re building a bookshop for the books that built their own way here.

OtherShelf is being built exclusively for independently published books. We’re still stocking the idea, not selling books yet.

Readers deserve a place where independently published stories aren’t tucked into a side category. Authors deserve another route to be found without giving up the places they already sell. That is the shelf we’re working towards.

For now, we’re listening. The reader waitlist asks what you like to read and how you’d like to discover something new. The founding-author form helps us understand the books, formats and practical needs that could shape an initial catalogue. Neither form is an order, a listing agreement or a promise of launch access.

Our intended model is an online bookshop using print-on-demand fulfilment. Authors would not need to send us stock or leave Amazon, their own site or other retailers. We’ll share the actual terms and fulfilment details before any book is offered for sale.

There are no real book recommendations here yet. When we start featuring titles, they’ll be real independently published books, with the authors’ permission and details checked before publication.
