These terms apply to this pre-launch OtherShelf website.

About this site

OtherShelf is an early-stage UK online bookshop for independently published books. The shop is not yet operating. Our intended model uses print-on-demand fulfilment and does not require authors to sell exclusively through OtherShelf. Information about providers, fees and launch arrangements may change before trading begins.

Waitlist and author interest

Joining the reader waitlist does not guarantee launch access or availability of any particular book. Submitting an author expression of interest is not a publishing agreement, listing agreement, offer, acceptance, or guarantee that any book will be included.

Acceptable use

Please do not misuse the site, attempt unauthorised access, submit malicious content, impersonate another person, or interfere with availability. You must have the right to share any information you submit.

Content

The abstract cover designs on this pre-launch site are clearly marked previews. They do not represent real books, authors, reviews or ratings. OtherShelf’s branding and site content may not be reused without permission.

Availability and liability

We aim to keep this site accurate and available but cannot promise it will always be error-free or uninterrupted. Nothing here excludes liability that cannot legally be excluded under UK law.
